The Signal Mutual Indemnity Association (SMIA) Safety Committee Meetings is a two-day event held three times a year across the US.

About this event

The mission of the Safety Committee is to create a direct link between the SMIA Board of Directors and professional safety representatives from Member companies. Under the authority of the Board of Directors, the committee collaborates on industry safety issues in order to develop recommendations and tools that will assist the Membership in the elimination and reduction of risk.

Meeting Summary:

Tuesday, October 19, The SMIA Safety Committee is excited to host the Full Day Membership Meeting, which will contain:

  • Leadership Panel Discussion
  • Presentations
  • Speakers
  • Updates on the Committee’s items for the Association
  • And More

Wednesday, October 20, The SMIA Safety Committee will host the Subcommittee Meetings. The Meeting will break into subcommittees, in which you will be able to attend the appropriate subcommittee.

These meetings are an excellent opportunity to network with the Committee and Signal Members!

We have a small room block available for attendees who need a guest room; more details to follow. Complimentary Breakfast and lunch will be provided on both days!
